awful bed backache
the room was clean, but i expect that from any hotel.
the bed in the executive double room was awful it reminded me of sleeping on a bag of rocks. i woke up with a backache every morning and tossed and turned all night trying to find a comfortable position. this really ruined what could have been a decent trip.

non-working lift lack of communication
The lift was not working. I received no notification about it. i ordered food at the restaurant. After one hour, the starters still had not arrived. it was frustrating, as no table in the full restaurant had received food, despite other tables ordering before me. due to this issue and lack of communication, i cancelled my order and decided against breakfast at the hotel too.

Wonderful Stay with Seaside Serenity
spacious room free parking convenient bus
I appreciated the spacious room and English Channel views. Parking was available at no cost. The room was well-decorated and tastefully furnished, with a lovely bathroom. I found the bus stop right outside the hotel very convenient for traveling into town.
The soft bed was not to my preference, as I almost fell out.

The breakfast buffet offered a large selection of cereals. The menu included various options for main items. I opted for the Full English breakfast. The bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and tomatoes were lovely and of good quality.

I was greeted with smiles and courtesy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They provided assistance when required and were generally very approachable.

Decent stay with some issues
traffic noise cheap coffee
The room I had was a bit cramped, and it was missing a few things I would have expected. There wasn't a coffee machine, just cheap instant coffee, which seemed a bit stingy. the room faced the street, so the traffic noise was pretty constant (it sounded like a highway was nearby). The lack of air conditioning made it even worse.

clear directions great sea view basic toiletries
The receptionist provided clear directions and information about the stay. The room offered a great sea view from a high floor which ensured privacy. Basic toiletries, a kettle, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available.
The hotel didn't have air conditioning, and it was quite difficult to sleep because of this.
